Antique Cast Iron Alligator Nutcracker two tier JM - 120122 - 105377Early 20th century This green alligator comes from a time when cast iron toys and novelties were quite popular in the late 1800s to the early 1900s. As noted by the design, the sand used for the molds was capabile of incredible detail, including this item's webbed feet and scales. Though much of the paint has rubbed off, this item still retains about 80% of it's original green color and most of the red color inside the mouth. Item has not been tested.
