1924 Ad Murphy Varnish Finish Enamels Charles Kaiser - ORIGINAL ADVERTISING CL4 XEI9 1845 Ð May 22This is an original 1924 color print ad for the Murphy Varnish Company in Newark, New Jersey. This ad features a beautiful image by Charles Kaiser, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native. Kaiser attended the Layton School of Art, which is now the Milwaukee Institute of Art, as well as the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Kasier also taught at Mount Mary College. He has had his works on display in many watercolor exhibits in Wisconsin and across the United
