At the time of it's publication, Damasio invited the band Palo Alto to join him on stage in response to an invitation from the literary festival Oh les beaux jours !, held at La Crie Thtre national de Marseille. The project aimed to create a musical and theatrical adaptation of one chapter of the novel, depicting an urban riot in Marseille.
