Venetian glass bead altered in Africa (brought to molten hot and flattened to disc shape) traded in and altered in Nigeria

size ranges from 8mm x 21mm diameter to 9mm x 27mm diameter

Pressed Glass Flowers, 3-Strands greasy 16" (will need clasps)These flowers are a great blend of color, with some saucer and "gear" shapes mixed in. Orange, white, aqua, and taupe with luster color blend. These beads were popular with the Fulani Tribe of West Africa. Produced in the 1920's and 30's in Czech Republic. The flowers have 4 and 5 petals, and have a wonderful texture strung together. Sold in a set of 3 strands, they can be worn as is, or taken apart for jewelry designs. 25 inches long, beads are 5mm
