2023 Domaine Bachelet-Monnot Les Clos Roussots, Maranges Premier Cru, France Jason Stein Cellar Grape: ChardonnaySourced from a midslope, southeastfacing ~1 ha parcel in Cheilly Sampigny on claylimestone soils used to craft this structured Burgundy. Grapes are handharvested, with ~40 % whole clusters, followed by cold prefermentation maceration. Native yeast fermentation lasts around 15 days with gentle pigeage and remontage. Aged 18 months in French oak (25 % new), bottled unfined and unfiltered. Arrives August, 2025.
