This is a fantastic, rather rare musical instrument from WWI. This is a Fanfare Trumpet, also known as a Herald Trumpet and it was used for ceremonial purposes. These types of trumpets were often used during Royal Processions as well as military events such as change of command ceremonies and or award ceremonies. The condition is quite nice aside from the expected denting in the sheet brass construction. The shape is
