Scarce early WWII, 1942 Type # 1 Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) Enlisted Woman cotton khaki summer visor cap by Betmar Hats. The khaki cap features a gilt grass hat badge that depicts and eagle standing to the side with wings open and head to the viewer's left, the same image is also featured on the plastic buttons on either side. The inside tag reads: "Cap, WAAC, Summer, Type # 1 Size 21 1 2 BETMAR HATS, INC.
