As a Remembrance: Mid 19th Century Forget Me Not, Foil and Paper Flowers Under Glass painted leather with stamped cigar box labelI found a forget me not token of love friendship along the lines of this one earlier this year, and have kept a keen eye since as I think they're very charming and not easy to find! Happily, at an estate sale this past weekend I snatched up a handful, which very well might all of have been made by the same person, most likely a young woman, 150+ years ago or so.
