7 1/4" t x 4 3/4"  in diameter

5" x 7" and based on what I've seen I think likely 1860s or not long after

I believe it dates to early in Warehouse Point's operation

it immediately made me think of Duchamp's last work

Gorgeous Antique Mahogany Flame Shaped Finials carved toy gun 7 1/4" t x 4Such beautiful things! Found in Massachusetts, I believe these are mahogany, 19th c if not earlier, and were certainly once attached to some fine thing. I love them just as sculptural wooden objects to set somewhere, but with small holes in their bases they could certainly be used as finials once again. Sold as a pair. 4 1 16 t x 1 7 16 d ea. Excellent condition, with what appears to be a small dab of white paint on one of them, as pictured.
