This is a lovely example of The Cross of Honor of the German Mother or Mutterkreuz (Mothers Cross) in Silver (2nd class, Silver Cross: eligible mothers with six or seven children), in a smaller pin badge configuration. It comes complete in a very nice LDO box, which are quite hard to find, and definitely adds to the value of this piece. Reverse of pin reads 16 December 1938, which is the date that the award was first
