I think this one may come from the Nunavat region in Northern Canada

dating to the 1960s

Wonderful, Huge Handmade Wooden Blocks Set in Custom Made Crate plant stand 3/4" diameter handleThis blocks set makes me so happy, just dripping with handmade love, and so satisfying in that they all stack up, layer upon layer to fit just exactly so in their custom crate, with not an inch to spare. The lid fits onto the pegs around the lip of the box constructed of old wooden fruit crates to lock into place, flush and snug. Perfect. And then the blocks themselves are to my eye just gorgeous, most plain but enough painted creamy white on one side
