This is a genuine World War Two issue M1 Helmet liner by Westinghouse in great service worn condition, having been used through to the Vietnam War without being fitted with a new suspension. The most notable aspect is the original period white band around the circumference and white MP attached to the front with 572 painted to one side and a DI to the other side. MP stands for Military Police and 572 was the company.
