I believe this is Czech c

with four separate setting dials on the back

but here it is especially the series of pages of paper squares folded into shapes and labeled as representative of objects--a duck (distinguished from the bird or chicken next to it just by one tiny fold)  a picture frame

What I especially love about this partial 19th century penmanship notebook is how modern the hand-drawn block letter alphabets seem
