They are retained by nickel (worn away) rivets with dressed obverse heads

and was produced in several variants

The insignia on the front signifies Auxiliary Police with number 209 (we have not been able to trace significance of 209). Overall condition is good with much original paint remaining, a WWII issue canvas chin strap
