This is a nice Remington New Model Army Revolver in

an Imperial German WWI Militärpaß dated 1918 and a German WWII Era Heer Wehrpaß Identification Book

and has has a lovely patina of age

cycling and dry firing

but cleaning has removed all of that finish

Although it's not entirely clear why this Kepi would have been made in Iran, we believe that it was created for either a Diplomat, Military Officer, or Government Emissary stationed in Iran in the years leading up to WWI. In 1912, the Syndicat Franco Iranien was founded in Paris and represented in Tehran by Georges P. Bertrand.
