The helmet is of steel construction with original inlaid copper shield, which depicts the Dutch Republic Lion or the Coat of Arms of Netherlands. It was repainted slate blue over the original green color, most likely after the start of German occupation. Comes complete with leather liner, central draw string and leather chinstrap.
