It seems to me to show the influence of South American figurative pottery (Shipibo pottery comes to mind)

Sold Individually silkscreen vintage sign ) Fitted togetherI don't know who carved these fabulous dogs, which were found in South Carolina, but surely they were a dog lover, dedicating themselves to capturing the likeness of eight different species here, and who knows how many more might be out there somewhere? A variety of woods were used, some left dry and others given a thin coat of varnish. I don't think there is a lesser one among them, it just depends on what sort of dog lover one is! Sold individually.
