This is a wonderful example of a late war Imperial Japanese wood butt stock for the Type 99 Light Machine Gun. The only real difference in appearance is the hole on the bottom of the stock to use with a monopod for extra stationary stability while firing. The condition is really good and does show signs of wear and use. There is no significant damage present. The steel components has a light coating of oxidation
