The proportions of the box are terrific too

but also because I didn’t know exactly what it was and wanted to find out

but the paint remains bright and all the better for some wear

I am happy to have a new pane of glass cut for this and inserted before shipping (no charge) OR ship as is if you wish to reframe it

I believe he dates to the late 40s or so

Roses in Window (3 of 3) Glass Plate Negative fraternal order The proportions of the boxThis is one of three 5" x 7" glass plate negatives in the shop capturing arrangements of roses in various settings. Pretty unusual, I think they are wonderful both as images and objects, and would probably prop them just as is in a windowsill, which is how I photographed them. I believe they probably date to the 1910s or 20s. Really lovely. The slide shows a little peeling and few scratches, I think just adding to its terrific moodiness and aura! 5" x
