The wings are permanently preserved and waterproof. Each circle shape is 1 2" and the ring is adjustable. You have the option in getting the ring silver plated or in 925 sterling silver. Please note each ring turns out a little differently due to working with real nature items. All my butterflies and moths come from preservation farms and lived a full life. An
