Vickers Cork Plug Assembly, Original Hand Select:Yes 36): During World War IOriginal Item: Every Vickers gun was supplied with a cork plug assembly to close the steam escape tube when the gun is not firing. The assembly consists of a brass spindle with ring handle, a chain and hooks to attach the assembly to the water jacket stud, a cork plug, and a brass collar to retain the cork on the spindle. Many Vickers parts kits and dummy guns are missing this assembly. We? ve found a very few original cork plug assemblies.
