the Volunteers and Militia were reorganised nationally

but due to the breech cone arrangement this modification could not be practically applied to the M/57 carriage

These are all brass covered in leather on the barrels

and was used in many previous Browning designs

as these were muskets of pistol caliber

It is hand sewn, with steel hardware, and made of quality leather which was originally fully crosshatched with a border. The sling will also work for G K43 and MP43 44. Unlike almost all of the example that we see, this sling still has the complete maker information stamped onto the back
