Germany, Heer. A Heer Panzer Em/Nco’s Overseas Field Cap Auction Archive issue at Tromsö on 12(Heer Schiffchen fr Panzertruppe). A Heer Panzer overseas field cap, constructed of black cotton twill. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panelling, with sloping frontal scallops. Each side of the crown is flanked by a ventilation hole, reinforced with magnetic metal eyelets. Stitched onto the peak of the cap is the remnant of an insignia in the form of a black rayon backer bearing a silver grey machine embroidered Wehrmacht eagle
