This liquid base primer can be used on new and freshly stone ground skis, but it is mainly used as a maintenance base coat and from time to time during the season to get the most benet and wear resistance from the top coats you apply on top. Liquid base waxes do not need iron and can be used as a base for other liquid glide waxes and parafns.
