Germany, Heer. A Krim Shield, Heer Issue Newly Listed circled the sinking ship then(Krimschild). Constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a detailed map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, affixed to a zink backplate with a field grey wool patch, with two of four reverse attachment prongs intact, unmarked, the shield measuring 52. 02 mm (w) x 61. 96 mm (h), in very fine condition.
