Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey inscription of GESCHWADER HORST WESSEL as issued to personnel of Fliegergeschwader Dortmund, the reverse featuring a black cotton liner, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 510 mm (l), in unissued and mint condition.
