1862 $5 State of Georgia (Civil War Issue) Cr. 5 ~ Very Fine Details Atocha 1 Denomination 5 Mark CountryOctagonal portrait of James Oglethorpe at center. Red protector panel over FIVE DOLLARS. Black treasury seal on the reverse. January 15th, 1862. This note has a nick on the top obverse margin and the J in the signature ink has burned through the paper about 3 4 of an inch. Paper is strong & crisp and the note is bright.
