Germany. An Order Of The German Eagle, Breast Star To The Merit Cross, By Godet & Co. Auction Taken from a 1927 speech(Bruststern zum Verdienstkreuz des Ordens vom Deutschen Adler). Issued 1939 1943. A six pointed silver star with a silver gilt Maltese star with white enameled arms attached to the obverse, with partially enameled national eagles between the arms of the cross; the reverse plain, with two hollow rivets, with a vertical pinback, and a functional hinge catch assembly; marked 900 for silver content; not maker marked but textbook example by maker Grebrder
