A bronze circular medal, the obverse centre presents the right facing bust of Duke Ernst I of Saxony Altenburg, the reverse centre presents the inscription ERNST HERZOG VON SACHSEN ALTENBURG 3. AUGUST. 1903, measuring 32. 66 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
