Multi piece construction, in silver, cross in red enamel with two crossed swords, obverse centre shows Bulgarian flag, reverse centre shows crowned lion surrounded by a ring in green enamel with the inscription , on original striped triangular ribbon, very fine condition. Footnote: The Order of Military Merit was instituted 18th of May 1900 by Ferdinand I. It was awarded to military personnel for
