In silver and silver gilt, an eight point star with cluster of smooth rays, the obverse medallion featuring the cypher of Edward VII encircled by the inscription FOR FAITHFVL SERVICE, with a surmounting enamelled crown, reverse plain, measures 56mm (w) x 61 mm (h), weighs 37. 72 grams including ribbon, worn on original blue and red ribbon, small areas of adhesive residue on reverse, in extremely fine condition.
